Calling All Teens and Young Adults!

Get ready to connect socially, grow personally, and adventure at The Woodlands summer camp programs for children, teens and young adults with disabilities (ages 6-24).  Participants enjoy traditional summer camp activities such as swimming, music, arts and crafts, nature, golf, archery, ziplining and more.  But, unique to The Woodlands, our staff facilitate activities that encourage communication and self-advocacy while reinforcing goal setting, team-building and enhanced socialization. Reinforcement of routine helps each participant engage in independent activities of daily living within our barrier-free campus and lodging accommodations. Overnight camps begin at age 13; day camp options for ages 12 and under.

The Woodlands provides inclusive experiences for participants with all disabilities – while caregivers have a chance for a welcome respite. Scholarship opportunities are available. To learn more or to register for camp, visit www.mywoodlands.org or call 724-935-5470.
