Library Fun Fest

There’s more to do at this library celebration than just reading! The 7th Annual Library Fun Fest will feature popular attractions like a petting zoo, moon bounces and exhibits from the Gateway High School Robotics Club. Elephant and Piggie, from Mo Willems’s children’s book series of the same name, will also be making an appearance.

Pittsburgh Water Lantern Festival

Aug. 23, 5:30-9:30 p.m.

This popular event, which was voted as the #1 festival in the country by USA Today, is coming to Pittsburgh! Attendees will be able to design their own lanterns and launch them into the water. All lanterns are recyclable and will be cleaned up after the festival ends.

This annual fundraiser is one of the biggest biking events in Pittsburgh! It’s a great way to explore the area. Pick from four different bike routes or take them all on, then enjoy food and live music at the Finish Line Festival.
