The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s new expansion
Museum Lab Grand Opening – April 27, 2019

Museum Lab is a new museum for kids 10 and older, families, teachers, and researchers to experience art, tech, making, and learning. In the STUDIO LAB, young artists can explore technique and learn from staff and visiting artists. MAKE LAB provides equipment like 3D printers, a laser cutter, woodworking tools, sewing machines, plus compute design systems for kids to let their maker imaginations go wild. In the TECH LAB, kids can record a song or video, learn editing techniques, and participate in a live radio show.
Don’t miss Gymlacium in the Stacks, a three-story art installation and climbing landscape made from rope that opens to the public on June 8, 2019.
