Pitt Race Track to feature a community 5K Walk/Run

Pittsburgh International Race Complex (Pitt Race), located less than 40-miles from Pittsburgh, has donated the use of their paved track to assist the Western PA Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America as they host a 5K race on October 23, 2021.

The 5k event has various age divisions for runners as well as a fun walk division. Participants will run/walk the asphalt race track, ending on the finish line. All participates are eligible for prizes. Those who register early will receive t-shirts.

“This will certainly be one of the most unique races I have attended,” mentioned Race Director, Alexander Andres. All proceeds benefit the Western PA Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.

With the autumn foliage in full display, racers will be able to experience 18 turns sweeping left and right, along with fascinating elevation changes through the 400-acre racing, training, and entertainment facility. Pitt Race guests will have the opportunity to register for an afternoon  kart race  on the Wilson Circuit and spectate a drifting clinic on the Skid Pad.
