Penn State Beaver Summer Camps

 

Penn State Beaver’s summer youth programs provide local youngsters with educationally-sound instruction, delivered in fun and creative ways. Our academic camps provide an opportunity for kids to learn and practice STE(A)M concepts through the exploration of robotics, chemistry, sustainability, literature, and theatrical performances. Our sports camps teach kids athletic confidence and sportsmanship. This year’s newest camp, Our newest camp, “World Explorers Camp,” will teach youngsters about a different international language each day! 

We are proud to share that parents, grandparents, and teachers applaud us for providing children with in a safe and engaging learning experiences that consistently surpass their expectations. All of our instructors and staff have documented background clearances and are academically trained and credentialed educators.

ACADEMIC CAMPS are designed for children ages 5 and up. Academic camps include: Coding, Advanced Coding, Crime Scene Investigation, You be the Chemist®, Musical Theatre (featuring Annie Jr. ®), Intergalactic Academy, “Make It & Take It” Upcycling Art Projects, Kids Learn to Cook, Kids Cooking – Mystery Basket Challenge, Robotics, Advanced Robotics, Wizardry School (based on J.K. Rowlings famous Harry Potter novels),* Demigod’s Quest Camp (based on Rick Riordan’s famous Percy Jackson & the Olympians novels* and a NEW World Explorer’s Camp.

SPORTS CAMPS are designed for children ages 8 and up. For years, Penn State Beaver has hosted thousands of children who learn about teamwork, competition, fitness and gain/improve technical sports skills and self-confidence from Penn State Beaver’s athletes. Sports Camps include: Baseball, Boys’ Basketball, E-games, Fitness, Girls’ Basketball, Soccer, Softball and Volleyball.

Camps begin the week of June 17 and run throughout the summer. Prices range from $119 to $309. A family discount is available when this ad is mentioned. In addition, there are scholarships available. Call 724-773-3700 or email beaverce@psu.edu, for more information.
