Birthday parties have come a long way from the homemade cake and scoop of ice cream served in the backyard.  Today’s kids’ party scene covers the gamut.  Check out these party-time hits with children ages five through ten.

“I liked when my Mom had a Pinkalicious party in my backyard.  Pinkalicious [children’s book character] came to my house. She read us her book and played with us.”
