Mom-Invented FunBites Wins National Parenting Award

FunBites, a must-have kitchen tool for parents, announced that it has received a 2016 National Parenting Product Awards (NAPPA) seal of approval. This marks its third award from the prestigious evaluation program that enlists the help of independent judges and family testers to choose only the most entertaining, safe, and quality products to receive the coveted seal.

FunBites cuts food into geometrical shapes and bite-size pieces making mealtime fun for children and struggle-free for parents. Each set comes with a curved blade cutter to cut through foods such as sandwiches, pancakes, fruit, quesadillas, veggies and more; and a matching popper top to pop out bite-sized pieces.

“When I launched FunBites a few years ago it was to get my own picky eaters to try new foods and eat healthier,” says Bobbie Rhoads, FunBites Founder and President. “We thank NAPPA for the recognition and hope that we can continue to help parents who are also met with the challenge of picky eaters.”

“Our parent testers look for top-quality products that are innovative, useful and fun,” says Julie Kertes, NAPPA General Manager. “FunBites hits the mark on all three, making mealtime successful and entertaining.”

With seven sets available, including a Minions set for “Despicable Me” fans, FunBites is made in America, dishwasher safe, BPA free and available at select retailers and online at Target, Buy Buy Baby, Amazon and FunBites.com.
