La2018 Dance

Teaching artists and arts organization will share arts learning content to support children, families, and educators in the region via a new website-creativelearningpgh.org launching September 1, 2020!

At the start of a very different school year in Southwestern PA and the country, Arts Ed Collaborative (AEC) will unveil a new #ArtslearningAtHome website in partnership with APOST and The Legacy Arts Project. #ArtslearningAtHome is arts content at your fingertips generated by Southwestern PA teaching artists and arts organizations, with the ability for additional organizations to onboard, and features evolving arts learning content.

#ArtslearningAtHome, which began as a summer response to Covid-19 relief efforts, has grown into a robust resource of arts learning for the school year in the forms of videos, live virtual workshops, and lesson plans. As a resource for youth, families, and educators, creativelearningpgh.org is dynamic and ever evolving and supports creative writing, cultural arts, dance, media arts, music, theatre and visual arts.

Arts Ed Collaborative exists to collaborate with educators to unlock the transformative power of the arts. True to its mission, AEC is privileged to work on #ArtslearningAtHome with transformative teaching artists and arts organizations such as 1 Hood Media, ACH Clear Pathways, Alumni Theater Company, Assemble, Bricolage, Center of Life, Dreams of Hope, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, The Legacy Arts Project, and The P.R.I.D.E. Program.

When youth, families, and educators in Southwestern PA visit creativelearningpgh.org on September 1 and beyond, they can digitally connect with a diverse group of artists and, over the course of the school year, strengthen arts learning outcomes for their learners.

Arts Ed Collaborative is pleased to partner in this work with APOST and The Legacy Arts Project.
