SANTA, TRAINS AND CANDY CANES

DEC. 6, Noon-4 p.m. | Hopewell Township Community Park — Aliquippa

Take a train to the North Pole, enjoy endless hot chocolate, s’mores and candy canes and then have your picture taken with Santa himself.  Guests can also enjoy the train display and check out the offerings from the vendors at the event.

MAKE A GNOME HOME

Come build a whimsical home for a gnome or a fairy!  Natural and crafting materials will be supplied, so bring some imagination or a sprinkle of fairy dust to create a tiny, magical abode to take home. One registration per family, and each family will work on one gnome/fairy house.  Pre-registration is required.

HARMONY SILVESTER NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION

DEC. 31, 3 P.M. | HARMONY MUSEUM — HARMONY

This family-focused afternoon of fun in Historic Harmony honors its German heritage by celebrating Silvester (New Year’s Eve) on German time.  Events include a 5K race, Christmas tree toss and other fun activities. The New Year’s Eve ball drop takes place at 6 p.m, which is midnight in Germany.
