The Fall Festival will provide engaging content for people of all ages, interests, and backgrounds that can be enjoyed safely at home.
Presented virtually due to Covid-19, the festival will feature the Three Rivers Film Festival (3RFF) continuing its 38-year tradition of offering quality independent feature films to regional audiences. Also including films from the highly regarded Pittsburgh Shorts, ReelAbilities Pittsburgh, and JFilm Festival, the event will showcase 167 of the best local and international short and feature films, including dramas, comedies, animation, and documentaries. Two of the feature films and 12 of the short films have Pittsburgh connections. The event includes two family-friendly “All Ages” blocks of short films that are available November 12-22 with Block 1 offered free on November 14&15 as part of Allegheny Regional Asset District’s RADical days.
Also included are staged readings of the Pittsburgh Shorts Script Competition finalists. Professional actors will bring four short scripts to life and cash awards will be presented to the winners of the script competition as well as to the best live action, best animated, and best documentary short films.
