Arsenal Bowl is far from a typical bowling alley. It has operated in Lawrenceville since 1935 and still contains a lot of old-school décor. Families can bowl a few games during the day, while parents may enjoy its 21+ events, which often feature live bands and themes like blacklight bowling. If you enjoy watching old movies, Row House Cinemas, an independent theater that screens new hits, classics and indies, also hosts community film festivals and special events, such as the feline-themed CatVideoFest.
A Historical Home Run
Baseball fans won’t want to miss the Clemente Museum, dedicated to the life and legacy of the celebrated Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder Roberto Clemente. The museum contains artifacts from Clemente’s baseball career and humanitarian work. Book your guided tour in advance, as there are no walk-in hours outside of open house events during Pirates season.
