Audubon opens new environmental education center in Butler June 1, 2019

 

 

T.W. Phillips Barn at Succop Nature Park Grand Opening to featured a full day of free events – ceremonial tree planting.

The T.W. Phillips Barn is one of the major elements of ASWP’s Centennial Campaign and a cornerstone of the $7 million fundraising campaign celebrating Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania’s 100th anniversary. The renovated T.W. Phillips Barn contains classroom space, a nature store, and a large upstairs barn area that can be used for programs or rentals. A WindStax turbine helps to power the building.

Succop Nature Park, one of Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania’s properties, is located at 185 West Airport Road in Penn Township, Butler County. Visit aswp.org for directions and to learn more about the nature park.
