NEW IMAX® documentary Superpower Dogs Opens November 23 at The Rangos Giant Cinema

Join narrator, Chris Evans, on an immersive IMAX® adventure to experience the life-saving superpowers and extraordinary bravery of some of the world’s most remarkable dogs

The latest IMAX documentary from IMAX Entertainment, Cosmic Picture, and presenting sponsor Mars Petcare, Superpower Dogs 3D, will open at Carnegie Science Center’s The Rangos Giant Cinema on Sat., Nov. 23. From the filmmakers behind the acclaimed documentaries Jerusalem and Journey to Mecca, Superpower Dogs 3D takes audiences on an immersive IMAX® adventure to experience the life-saving superpowers and extraordinary bravery of some of the world’s most amazing dogs. The film is narrated by Chris Evans (Captain America: The First Avenger, Gifted).
Superpower Dogs 3D follows six real-life working dogs from around the world as well as their human partners as they brave earthquakes and avalanches, protect endangered species such as rhinos and elephants and transform the lives of people with special needs.
Visitors will enjoy a variety of activity tables, live demonstrations, and make-and-takes on the film’s opening day on Sat., Nov. 23, all inspired by man’s best friend and included with the purchase of a movie ticket and/or general admission to the Science Center. Opening day activities are sponsored locally by The Golden Bone and Lawrenceville Pet Supply. Additionally, the Humane Animal Rescue will visit the Science Center that day with lovable animals available for free adoption for the Baierl Subaru Share the Love Event.
Superpower Dogs 3D is a family-friendly film with a 45-minute runtime. Tickets are on sale now.

  • Ricochet – A surf and therapy legend in California who heals people with special needs.
  • Tipper and Tony – Bloodhound brothers leading the fight to save endangered species in Africa.
