Baseball Season Will Arrive With Record Milestone




The Wild Things has announced that Individual Game Tickets are now on sale for the general public.

 

Purchases and seat selection can be done online, through the team's website, on the phone or by stopping by the Box Office. The Wild Things are one of the few teams in the country to offer discounted tickets for kids, veterans and senior citizens every day of the week. Those specific discounted tickets are offered via phone orders or Box Office purchases only.

For the home opener on Friday, May 17th the Wild Things will celebrate the milestone of hosting over 2,000,000 fans in the franchise's history. As the Tri-State's premier professional baseball team, the Wild Things are breaking barriers and records on and off the field.

 

"Servicing the Pittsburgh area for 18 seasons and reaching this landmark is quite special. We have become so deeply rooted in our community and fans have just fell in love with the Minor League baseball product", stated General Manager Tony Buccilli. "It is important we recognize and reward our fans every opportunity we have. Breaking the 2 million milestone will allow us to reflect on all the great things we have done in the past, as we are continually driven to create memories every time we open the gates", Buccilli concluded.

 

The East Division Champions return to the field as they open the season Thursday, May 9 at River City, with the home opener slated for Friday, May 17 at Wild Things Park.
