Gemini Children's Theater Announces "Rapunzel!"

Pittsburgh, McKees Rocks, March 2018 - Gemini Children's Theater's production of "Rapunzel" opens April 7, 2018 through April 22, 2018.

This classic tale is given a hilarious comedic twist with some secret guest appearances, offering something entertaining for children and adults. When Dame Gothel catches a man stealing lettuce from her garden, she willingly lets him take as much as he likes in exchange for the baby he and his wife are soon expecting. Kinda "Grimm" huh? But wait . . . her chatty vegetable garden tries to help the man, but they are unable to change Gothel's mind. When the baby does arrive, Dame Gothel quickly takes her and hides her away in a tower for years . . . decades, in fact. With only the vegetable garden and Dame Gothel to speak to, Rapunzel resigns herself to a life of merely watching everyone else have fun. Will she ever get to swim with the mermaid in the sea or help the dwarves find their sleeping princess? Come find out and be part of this interactive, musical show!

Performances are held on Saturday's and Sunday's at 1:00pm and 3:30pm at the Ryan Arts and Culture Center at 420 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Tickets are $12.
