Concerts at The Day School to feature musicians on Autism Spectrum

The Day School of The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh will host three “café concerts” in April, one of which features a prominent local group of young-adult musicians on the autism spectrum.

The band, appropriately named Spectrum, will perform on:

  • Friday, April 27 at 1:30 p.m. in The Day School gymnasium.
  • Monday, April 16 at 1:15 p.m., The Clinton Clegg Duo will perform for five classrooms of students. Clegg is the lead singer behind The Commonheart, and, if Pittsburgh had a Voice-style singing competition, he just might win.
  • Wednesday, April 18 at 9:45 a.m., the Clarion Area School District will perform for 12 classrooms of students on their way to performing the National Anthem at PNC Park.
