Home School Children’s Christmas Tours at Old Economy Village

Old Economy Village in Ambridge, Pa. will be offering two Christmastime for Children Tours for Home School families. This tour is designed for young children from pre-school to the third grade. The first tour will be held on Thursday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. and the second tour will be Wednesday, December 13 at 1:00 p.m. Cost is $5 per person.

 During this hour and a half tour, the students will make an ornament to take home, learn a Christmas song, hear the story of the Little Crooked Christmas Tree, pretend to decorate Christmas cookies, help make a paper chain to decorate the Village and have a party with grumpy, old Belsnickel. He will be checking his book to see which children are naughty and nice.

Old Economy Village is a gemstone site of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
